Best & Wrost NARS Orgasm Collection (Summer 2019)

The new, NARS Orgasm Collection, might have been intended as the 20th anniversary celebration of cult product, Orgasm Blush, but it fell rather short of anything resembling a real celebration.  I’d argue that the Endless Orgasm Palette was the “star” of the launch, and it was the worst of the collection and certainly on track to be on at least a few worst-of-2019 lists.  When the product you’re celebrating is a blush, and you put out a palette full of products designed to be used on the cheeks (and eyes and lips), you’d think it would, at least, be a stellar cream blush but no.

The new Orgasm Lip Tint is decent but for many, not particularly memorable or so much better than a slew of other, pink-tinted glosses on the market.  I think the fact that the Orgasm Liquid Highlighter wasn’t very practical to use as a standalone highlighter (like on cheekbones) is going to cut its potential audience down–it did work well on the body, where it was easier to stretch out a drop or two without worrying about precision or base products.
