Medium-Nude/Neutral Beige (Right)

Natasha Denona Medium-Nude/Neutral Beige (Right) Mini Bronze & Glow ($19.00 for 0.141 oz.) contains a metallic, bronzy gold and a matte, mid-tone, reddish-brown. While the product is called “Bronze & Glow,” the matte brown is actually a blush (from one of the brand’s permanent blush duos). The highlighting shade is from the larger Citrus palette. Both shades performed well, were pigmented and easy to work with, and lasted eight and a half hours on me.

Whenever brands release products like this, I wonder why they don’t consider releasing two or three variations as it’s marketed as a highlighting and bronzing duo and yet is very limited in what skin tones it’ll achieve those things on.

Medium-Nude

Medium-Nude is a richer, medium gold with warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The texture was denser, lightly creamy, and had some slip to it–more like a cream-powder hybrid in that sense–that yielded opaque color coverage in a single layer. I’d recommend using a denser, more rounded brush to ensure even pick up of product, though. The powder applied evenly to my cheek bones, blended out easily, and didn’t emphasize my skin’s natural texture. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours on me before fading a bit. (It was consistent in color with the original debut of the shade in the Citrus palette but actually was smoother, creamier, and performed a bit better as the original was a little drier.)

Neutral Beige (Right)

Neutral Beige (Right) is a medium brown with warm, reddish undertones and a matte finish. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that was easy to apply with a lighter hand for sheerer, more buildable coverage as the texture was soft, silky, and blendable without being powdery. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before fading slightly.

Cheer Up MAC Cheer Up Glow Play Blush ($30.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a brighter, light-medium coral with subtle, pink-leaning and moderately warm undertones paired with a satin sheen. There was very faint and fine pearl throughout, so it didn’t have a full-on matte finish but did not appear overly shimmery either. The texture was smooth to the touch and malleable where I could push against the surface and get a lasting indent, but it didn’t have the traditional wetness of a true cream blush. It felt more like powder once it came into contact with my skin, and I didn’t have issues with the product lifting up base products when I patted this over my liquid foundation. It had semi-opaque, buildable coverage with a fingertip and more semi-sheer, buildable coverage with a brush. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.
