Kaja Atmosphere Mochi Pop Bouncy Blendable Highlighter ($19.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a medium coral with warm undertones that leaned slightly pink paired with a faint, satiny sheen. It had buildable pigmentation from medium to mostly opaque, while the texture felt smooth to the touch with the slightest sense of slip/wetness (as it is a hybrid “powder-gel” formula).

The blush applied well over bare skin with fingertips, as recommended by the brand, and well over liquid foundation but lifted up foundation that had been set with powder. It was very quick to turn to a powder-like finish–pretty much as soon as it hit my fingertip–and was a thinner formula, too, which isn’t quite as forgiving to work with than something with more substance. On my skin, it wore well for eight hours before I noticed fading.

Cheer Up MAC Cheer Up Glow Play Blush ($30.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a brighter, light-medium coral with subtle, pink-leaning and moderately warm undertones paired with a satin sheen. There was very faint and fine pearl throughout, so it didn’t have a full-on matte finish but did not appear overly shimmery either. The texture was smooth to the touch and malleable where I could push against the surface and get a lasting indent, but it didn’t have the traditional wetness of a true cream blush. It felt more like powder once it came into contact with my skin, and I didn’t have issues with the product lifting up base products when I patted this over my liquid foundation. It had semi-opaque, buildable coverage with a fingertip and more semi-sheer, buildable coverage with a brush. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.
