Natasha Denona Cranberry (2019) Eyeshadow Palette 5 ($48.00 for 0.4 oz.) has arrived in its permanent, white-hued packaging (compared to its special packaging from last holiday), and the formulas were tweaked. Sakura and Blossom have been changed from the Cream-Powder formula to a pure powder form, though the back of the packaging still listed them as “CP,” the ingredient list was quite close to Creamy Matte shades released in the last few months. That being said, I noticed ingredient changes in Daisy, Botanic (which changed from 192M to 192DC), and Nude. I have never seen a brand tweak and alter their eyeshadow formula as often as Natasha Denona.
The color, finish, and overall performance was pretty on the nose for Daisy, Botanic, and Nude, while Sakura and Blossom were substantially different in feel and application but also in color. Sakura is deeper, pinker, and fully matte, while Blossom is deeper plum with a matte finish instead of a deeper, pink-red with a subtle sheen. I actually liked the original Cream-Powder formula, but I can see why some did not, and I do think that the composition is more versatile now that both shades are distinct shades.
Daisy (190CK)
Daisy (190CK) is a brighter, light-medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. It had excellent color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly to bare skin and blended out easily without fallout. The texture was soft, smooth to the touch, but it felt a touch drier than the original release. It wore nicely for eight and a half hours on me before I noticed fading.

Sakura (191CM)
Sakura (191CM) is a medium-dark, pinky red with subtle, cool undertones and a matte finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, which applied well to bare skin with a smooth, even application that remained blendable on my skin. It lasted nicely for eight and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.

It was richly pigmented with a smooth, lightly creamy texture that felt a bit more yielding compared to the original release. This shade stayed on well for eight and a half hours on me before showing signs of fading.

Blossom (193CM)
Blossom (193CM) is a medium-dark, rosy plum with subtle, warm undertones and a mostly matte finish. It had rich color coverage that adhered well to bare skin without losing its intensity, but I found it harder to diffuse and soften the edge. The texture was soft, slightly drier to the touch, and felt thinner (less powdery, though) compared to some of Natasha Denona’s recent matte eyeshadows. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before I noticed any fading.

Nude (140CP)
Nude (140CP) is a brighter, peachy beige with warm undertones and flecks of pink and gold sparkle throughout. It looks like the brand dropped “sheer” from the description of this shade, which is a good thing, as it has been consistently quite pigmented! The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable without being too firmly nor too loosely pressed in the pan. It seemed to have slightly more binder than the last release. This shade lasted well for eight and a half hours on me before showing signs of fading.
