KKW Beauty Classic Blossom Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
Classic Blossom
KKW Beauty Classic Blossom 10-Pan Eyeshadow Palette ($45.00 for 0.60 oz.) contains a mix of rose and red-tinged neutrals from pale peach to red to deep plum. While the texture of most of the mattes was incredibly silky, it did result in some powderiness and not all shades were richly pigmented–some were buildable and others definitely needed primer underneath them. The shimmer formula was inconsistent as some shades were quite nice to work with but a couple had room for improvement. Despite the shortcomings, it was one of those palettes that doesn’t seem to perform well looking at swatches alone but ended up being relatively easy to work with overall (the two deeper shades being more buildable made them more foolproof).
Chi
Chi is a light-medium, pink-coral with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had medium pigmentation that was hard to build up, even over a primer, as it was moderately powdery and prone to sheering out. I noticed some fading after seven hours of wear.

Baby
Baby is a light-medium brown with warm, orange undertones and a matte finish. It had an incredibly silky consistency that was very finely-milled but was somewhat powdery in the pan. It had nearly opaque pigmentation that was buildable on my skin, as it blended out well but didn’t lose its intensity (unless that was intended–like really blowing out the edges). This shade stayed on well for eight hours before it started to fade noticeably.

Samurai
Samurai is a medium-dark, rosy copper with warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The consistency was slightly chunky to the touch, and it seemed to have a firmer press, which made it harder to pick up product with a brush without really pushing at the surface. There was some fallout when I applied it to my lid, though it blended out easily after pressing it onto my lid. It wore well for eight hours on me before it started to fade.

It had opaque color payoff that adhered fairly evenly to bare skin, but the texture felt slightly drier and was more prone to fallout during application. Blossom
Blossom is a medium-dark bronze with warm, reddish undertones and a pearly sheen. It had rich color coverage with a smooth, denser consistency that felt a little too firm in the pan, as I did have to use a heavier hand to pic up product evenly on a brush. It stayed on well for eight and a half hours before it started to fade on me.

Japan is a pale peach with moderate, warm undertones and a matte finish. The eyeshadow had nearly opaque pigmentation in a single layer, and it actually managed to hold much of that intensity on bare skin, though there was slight fallout. The consistency felt smooth, silky, and was a touch powdery in the pan. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me before it started to fade noticeably.

Tree is a soft, light mauve with strong, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had rich pigmentation that adhered well to bare skin and blended out nicely along the edges. The consistency was soft, velvety, and a smidgen dusty in the pan but wasn’t dry or powdery applied. It lasted just over eight hours on my lid before fading a bit.

Hanami is a deep red with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque color payoff that was buildable to full coverage with two to three layers. The consistency felt grainy and on the drier side, which can be something that happens with more matte, reddish hues like this, though it didn’t have a meaningful impact in the application as the eyeshadow blended out well along the edges. It lasted nicely for eight hours on me before starting to fade.
