Anastasia Sunset Punch Liquid Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a light-medium, rosy mauve with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte-metallic finish. It had good color coverage, though it needed a second layer for full opacity. The texture was smooth, lightweight, and thin without being too watery or slippery, so the color went on evenly. I did have trouble with the dry down getting into my lip lines and emphasizing my texture a bit, though it wasn’t as noticeable in person when I smiled as it was quite reflective. It stayed on well for five hours and was slightly drying while worn.

Anastasia Bellini Liquid Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a light-medium, peachy-coral with a warmer, coral-red base and lighter, peachy gold shimmer. It had a very metallic finish that did, of course, have a flat dry down–so more matte metallic. Applied to my lips, the coral-red came through more noticeably with the shimmer being less present, though the metallic effect was noticeable. The consistency was easy to spread across my lips, but it seemed thin, almost oily, and prone to applying unevenly and pulling into my lip lines. While metallic finishes can be more emphasizing of lip texture, this was particularly noticeable and clumped up in certain places. It actually looked worse in person as the reflective sheen is helping to minimize some of the shortcomings in the application. It wore well for five hours, wore away unevenly, and was slightly drying over time.
