Jackie Aina Anastasia Jackie Aina Eyeshadow Palette ($45.00 for 0.392 oz.) is a new, limited edition palette that features 14 shades across three Pressed Pigments and 11 eyeshadows in various finishes, from matte to pearl to metallic. Where this palette shines is in its cohesive, yet versatile, color scheme. The left side of the palette has a pink/purple vibe, while the right side is warmer, earthier with taupe and green brown. There’s a nice mix of depth, undertone, and finish to create many looks. The mattes in the palette are some of the brand’s best; they had some of the soft, lightly powdery nature that most expect from the brand’s formula, but I had hardly any fallout from the mattes and found them to be quite pigmented and blendable overall. Pillow Talk Medium Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Medium Matte Revolution Lipstick ($37.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a muted, dusty coral with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had medium coverage in a single layer that was buildable to semi-opaque coverage with a second layer. It was paired with a smooth, lightly emollient texture that felt more velvety than moist, so it glided on easily but didn’t feel slippery on. There was a smidgen of product that sank into my deeper lip lines but wasn’t noticeable in person (just in the close-up photos). It wore well for four and a half hours and was neither drying nor hydrating over time. Cheer Up MAC Cheer Up Glow Play Blush ($30.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a brighter, light-medium coral with subtle, pink-leaning and moderately warm undertones paired with a satin sheen. There was very faint and fine pearl throughout, so it didn’t have a full-on matte finish but did not appear overly shimmery either. The texture was smooth to the touch and malleable where I could push against the surface and get a lasting indent, but it didn’t have the traditional wetness of a true cream blush. It felt more like powder once it came into contact with my skin, and I didn’t have issues with the product lifting up base products when I patted this over my liquid foundation. It had semi-opaque, buildable coverage with a fingertip and more semi-sheer, buildable coverage with a brush. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.
