Dior Celebrate in Gold (017) High Fidelity Colours & Effects Eyeshadow Palette ($63.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a new, limited edition five-pan palette that features two golds, a soft golde-taupe, satiny brown, and rich black.
Two of the five shades had lower-level shimmer, so the color story offered more contrast and versatility than some of the other Dior quints have in the past. All five shades performed well; they were pigmented, easy to apply and blend out, and stayed on for eight to nine hours on me.
Celebrate in Gold #1
Celebrate in Gold #1 is a bright, medium gold with moderate, warm undertones and a metallic finish. It seemed slightly warmer than green-leaning golds but it read cooler than most true warm golds. The texture was smooth to the touch, dense without being too firmly pressed into the pan.
The eyeshadow had opaque coverage applied dry as well as with a dampened brush, though the latter method yielded more intense shine. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before fading visibly.

Celebrate in Gold #2 is a soft, champagne gold with strong, warm undertones and a metallic finish. It had rich color payoff that adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges. The consistency was dense, smooth, and yielded well to dry brushes but had no fallout. It stayed on nicely for nine hours before fading slightly.

Celebrate in Gold #3 is a brighter, golden taupe with warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish. The pigmentation was good applied dry, though it was shy of full coverage, while dampened application had deeper color and a brighter shine that made it appear lighter than the dry application.
The texture was denser, but smooth, and I had no trouble picking up product with a dry brush. It lasted well for eight and a half hours on me before showing signs of wear.

It was intensely pigmented, though dampened application gave it a deeper color that seemed richer overall. The texture was smooth, dense, and a bit creamier compared to the other shades, but I didn’t have any issues applying and blending it out on my skin. It stayed on nicely for nine hours before fading noticeably.
