Colour Pop Love Life Matte X Lippie Stix ($6.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a medium-dark, coppery-red with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency felt velvety and smooth, so it skated across my lips but didn’t actually feel wet/slippery. It had opaque pigmentation delivered in one stroke, which adhered evenly to my lips. A bit of the color pulled away at my deeper lip lines but wasn’t only visible in the close-up photos and looked fine in person. The color stayed on well for over six hours, left a stain behind, and was non-drying over time.

Colour Pop Parachute Lippie Stix ($6.00 for 0.0352 oz.) is a bright, rich coral-orange with a semi-matte finish. It had an incredibly velvety, smooth, and creamy consistency without any of the wetness of a traditional cream lipstick; it felt more like a silicone-based primer. The color applied evenly, but there was noticeable color that separated along my deeper lip lines on both my top and bottom lips. The pigmentation was opaque in one pass and was still going strong after six hours of wear, though it was neither drying nor hydrating over time.
