When your favorite product gets discontinued, do you stock up or move on?

If it’s something I can actually use and feel like I’ll go through, I may get a backup, but I usually just move on. I’ve found that I’m slow to get through backups no matter what, and I also tend to use more recently released products when I do get to return to things anyway.

Cheer Up MAC Cheer Up Glow Play Blush ($30.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a brighter, light-medium coral with subtle, pink-leaning and moderately warm undertones paired with a satin sheen. There was very faint and fine pearl throughout, so it didn’t have a full-on matte finish but did not appear overly shimmery either. The texture was smooth to the touch and malleable where I could push against the surface and get a lasting indent, but it didn’t have the traditional wetness of a true cream blush. It felt more like powder once it came into contact with my skin, and I didn’t have issues with the product lifting up base products when I patted this over my liquid foundation. It had semi-opaque, buildable coverage with a fingertip and more semi-sheer, buildable coverage with a brush. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly. The lipstick yielded medium color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly and didn’t settle into or emphasize my lip lines, despite being a creamier, more emollient formula. It felt lightweight and was comfortable to apply and to wear as it felt like a balm-lipstick hybrid. It lasted well for four hours and was hydrating over time.
