Jouer Beach Daze Duochrome High Pigment Pearl Lip Gloss ($17.00 for 0.2 oz.) has a sheerer, almost coppery base with sparkle that shifted from copper to fuchsia. It had semi-sheer color coverage that was buildable to semi-opaque with a second layer, but the emollient formula was prone to pulling into my lip lines. At most angles, it was hard to see the settling as it did have a high-shine finish and a lot of reflection from the sparkles. The texture was lightweight, thin but comfortable to wear, and wasn’t tacky. It wore well for three hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

Jouer Sea Glass Duochrome High Pigment Pearl Lip Gloss ($17.00 for 0.2 oz.) has a sheerer, pink-tinted base with pink to gold shifting sparkle. While it was intended to be full coverage, it was medium coverage at best in a single layer; it had a good amount of shimmer and sparkle that dispersed well across my lips, but full coverage it was not! The texture was lightweight, emollient without being too slippery, and thin, though comfortable to wear as it was a hydrating formula. I had a touch of product sink into my lip lines but didn’t find it noticeable in person due to the high-shine finish. It stayed on nicely for three hours on me.

Cheer Up MAC Cheer Up Glow Play Blush ($30.00 for 0.25 oz.) is a brighter, light-medium coral with subtle, pink-leaning and moderately warm undertones paired with a satin sheen. There was very faint and fine pearl throughout, so it didn’t have a full-on matte finish but did not appear overly shimmery either. The texture was smooth to the touch and malleable where I could push against the surface and get a lasting indent, but it didn’t have the traditional wetness of a true cream blush. It felt more like powder once it came into contact with my skin, and I didn’t have issues with the product lifting up base products when I patted this over my liquid foundation. It had semi-opaque, buildable coverage with a fingertip and more semi-sheer, buildable coverage with a brush. It wore well for eight hours before fading visibly.
