Colour Pop Conjure Up Pressed Powder Shadow ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a muted, medium green with cool undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation, which was buildable to full coverage, with a soft, lightly dusty texture. This type of color isn’t that common in mainstream ranges, so to see it and see it done fairly well was such a happy surprise. It blended out nicely and lasted for eight hours on me, but it did stain slightly (was gone after I washed my face in the morning–I don’t stress over minor staining, so I don’t do anything extra to try and remove it the night prior!).

The new Pressed Powder Shadow formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” with an “ultra-velvety and silky” texture that is “long-wearing” and “adheres easily to the eyes.” Most of the shades have semi-opaque to opaque pigmentation that applies well to bare skin, blends out without issue, and lasts for seven to eight hours. The matte eyeshadows tend to be a little more powdery, though soft and finely-milled, in the pan, while the shimmers have a creamier, dense consistency. Occasionally, the more sparkly or metallic shades apply better with fingertips or a dampened brush.

Colour Pop Superzoom Pressed Powder Shadow ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a muted emerald green with cool undertones and a pearly sheen. It seemed a little too green-leaning to be thought of as teal as opposed to emerald green (which is usually a little warmer in makeup). It had rich, opaque color payoff in a single layer. The texture felt smooth to the touch, but it was firmer and denser in the pan, and I’d expect it was due to the silicones in it. There was some slip and slide, which made it harder to diffuse and get a really seamless blend along the edge, but it worked well for a pop of color on the lid. It wore well for eight and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.

Colour Pop Antimatter Pressed Powder Shadow ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a deep, navy blue with subtle, cool undertones–almost a “warmer” blue but it was more blue than teal–with a sparkling sheen. The pigmentation was opaque in a single layer, while the texture was soft, smooth, and blendable without being too dense or too soft in the pan. It applied evenly and stayed on well for eight hours on me before fading slightly.

Colour Pop Heavenly Pressed Powder Shadow ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a light aqua with subtle, warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic sheen. The texture was a little thicker and not as dense, so there was some excess kick up in the pan and a bit of fallout during application if I wasn’t careful to press and pat the color into place first. It had good pigmentation that blended out nicely and lasted well for eight hours. I’d recommend using it with a dampened brush to get the most out of this shade, though it was certainly usable dry.

Colour Pop Quantum Sleep Pressed Powder Shadow ($5.00 for 0.05 oz.) is a rich, cobalt blue with strong, cool undertones and a pearly sheen. It was richly pigmented and had a smooth, lightly creamy texture that was dense but not stiff or too thick on my lid. The eyeshadow applied evenly and blended out with ease along the edges. It wore beautifully for eight and a half hours on me.
