Bobbi Brown Wild Card Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss ($27.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a medium, orange-coral with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had a lot of shine, and while it looked more like a cream-finish, it didn’t appear milky applied so it didn’t sink heavily into my lip lines. The coverage was sheer to semi-sheer, as described, while the consistency was lightweight, plush, smooth, and spreadable with minimal tackiness. It was comfortable to wear for the four hours it lasted for as the formula seemed hydrating.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to be "ultra-shiny" (it is) with a "cushiony, comfy feel" (nailed it) that has a "burst of color" (sheer to medium coverage) that is "ultra-hydrating." It has more of a smooth, gel-like texture, which is where it gets that "cushiony, comfy feel," and it spread easily over my lips and felt comfortable to wear.

There was a strong shine that lingered for two to three hours during wear with shades lasting, generally, between three and five hours overall (with reduced shine toward the end). Some shades had slight to light product that sank into my lip lines, but the higher-shine finish made that less noticeable in person. The formula felt hydrating over time, and they had a herbal, lemony scent but no discernible taste.

The consistency was smooth, lightweight, and plush (more like a creamy gel) that spread easily over my lips for even coverage, though there was a bit of product that sank into my deeper lip lines. It had sheer to semi-sheer coverage in a single layer. It wore well for three and a half hours and was hydrating over time.

Bobbi Brown Free Spirit Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss ($27.00 for 0.2 oz.) is a muted, medium peachy-coral with warm undertones and a high-shine, cream finish. It had semi-sheer to medium color payoff that applied evenly and stayed out of most of my lip lines. What little was in my deeper lip lines, I couldn’t detect in person, just in the close-up photos. The gloss had a smooth, spreadable texture that was like a creamy-gel–plush but not heavy or tacky–which made for a very comfortable wear. It lasted nicely for four hours and felt moisturizing while worn.
