YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick ($38.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a new, limited edition variation on the Rouge Volupte formula. It’s supposed to be a “lipstick-meets-balm” with “hydrating, medium-coverage” that has a “star-shaped core packed with pearls” for both shine and shimmer. Here are swatches of the eight shades!

It had buildable coverage from medium to semi-opaque in two layers, while the texture was lightweight, emollient and almost balm-like, but thin and not overly slippery, so it didn’t slide around while worn. It lasted well for four hours and was moisturizing while worn.
