Liquid Lipsticks Over $15 | 2019 Editor’s Favorites
As I mentioned in the previous best of post featuring my favorite liquid lipsticks under $15… there weren’t nearly as many liquid lipsticks reviewed in 2019 as there were in prior years, which I think reflects a trend away from liquid lipstick, generally, though there are still plenty of liquid lipstick ranges available–there’s just been less added to the existing pool. Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro, which is one of my all-time favorite lipstick formulas, saw the addition of several shades that were more neutral- and earth-toned. I also finally managed to try and review Bobbi Brown’s Crushed Liquid Lipstick, which is another not-matte liquid lipstick (more like a lipstick/lipgloss hybrid really).
If you’re unfamiliar with how I like to do my year-end favorites, here’s the low down: I pull from the products I reviewed in 2019, regardless of whether they were new, limited edition, or an established range I’ve only just gotten around to reviewing. These are personal favorites, so they may or may not be the highest rated products reviewed during the year (though they will tend to be better rated, naturally!).
