Revlon Rum Raisin Super Lustrous Lipstick ($8.49 for 0.15 oz.) is a medium-dark, coppery red with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage in a single layer, which built up to full coverage with less than half of a layer more. The texture was smooth, lightly creamy without being too thick or too emollient, and comfortable to apply and to wear. It stayed on nicely for four and a half hours and felt moisturizing while worn.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to have "lightweight color and moisturizing shine" with "buildable color payoff" and a "gliding, smooth application." It's a good formula for those who like medium, buildable coverage with a smooth, balmy consistency that glides across lips easily but doesn't feel too slippery while worn.

They're comfortable to wear with light hydration but tend to wear a shorter length of time--anywhere from two to four hours with a couple of shades reaching a little beyond four hours. What I like most about the formula is the finish: it's luminous and more smoothing, so it's kinder to lips with imperfection or prone to dryness/flaking. The formula has slip but doesn't have any heaviness or slickness that makes it prone to getting into lip lines.

Revlon Iced Mocha Super Lustrous Lipstick ($8.49 for 0.15 oz.) is a muted, medium brown with strong, warm undertones and fine, gold and copper pearl. It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage (up to semi-opaque) with a lightweight, thin texture that was emollient without being too slippery. The lipstick applied fairly evenly, but I felt like I struggled to get the product to adhere evenly to the inner areas of my lips. The color lasted well for three and a half hours on me and felt hydrating over time.

Revlon Choco-liscious Super Lustrous Lipstick ($8.49 for 0.15 oz.) is a medium-dark brown with warm, reddish undertones and a luminous finish. There seemed to be barely-there pearl throughout but not enough to give it a truly metallic or frosted appearance. The texture was moderately emollient with more noticeable slip, so it slid around a little bit during wear, and I felt like this created some lines and streakiness along the outer edges (though I didn’t experience feathering or bleeding). It had buildable coverage from medium to mostly opaque. It wore well for four hours and felt moisturizing while worn.
